My thoughts on Kashi Hummus crisps.

I first got the bag of Kashi Sea Salt & Olive Oil Hummus crisps and ripped the bag open with great excitement. I popped in a crisp and thought YUMMY! Then I put the bag down and for got about it. That should have been a sign.

I looked at the bag for a while and it just wasn't calling my name.  However, I wanted to really give it a review so I picked up the bag and started popping crisp after crisp. Something wasn't right and the flavor just wasn't jiving with me. They are dry. Kind of like a styrofoam peanut. They would be ok with some sort of dip.

I had some friends over and put them out for trial. I did not say at first that I was in fact reviewing the product as a BzzAgent. After everyone had taken one I asked, "hey, how'd you like those?"

3 basically said they did not care for them and that is why they only had one.

and 2 said they were 'good.

Then I revealed that I was in fact reviewing them as a bzzagent. The 2 that said they were good actually looked relieved and said oh and admitted they didn't really care for them dry. One of them even said that they would be "Good with Hummus". I couldn't help but laugh.

I did offer the coupons and told them that they had other flavors, and no one wanted one, so I left them on the grocery shelf.

I love Kashi, but this just didn't hit the mark. Hummus is for dipping. I think If this were dub a healthy crisp FOR dipping, I would have done in with a different frame of mind.
